Bogor – New students from College of Vocational Studies IPB University broke the Record Holders Republic record in the category of “Publication of Articles in Several Media with The Most Author” by 1576 new students which was carried out in the period 6-10 July 2021. This record-breaking was carried out during the period Introduction of the New Student Campus (MPKMB) Batch 58 Mahardika Cakrabinaya College of Vocational Studies IPB University on Friday, August 13, 2021.
President of Record Holders Republic (RHR), Lia Mutisari was present to deliver her remarks conveying the record achieved is expected to provide motivation and inspiration for new students. Meanwhile, Vice President of Record Holders Republic (RHR) Halim Sugiarto explained, the criteria for this record must be unique, have certain specializations, and need special abilities to do it and have meaningful values. “Stay in high spirits and maintain health protocols, it is extraordinary that new College of Vocational Studies IPB University students can break world records and this makes not only Vocational Schools but Indonesia also proud,” Halim said in a record-breaking reading, Friday 13 August 2021.
The Dean of the College of Vocational Studies IPB University, Arief Daryanto congratulates and is proud of all the new students of batch 58 who are still enthusiastic, able to give birth to ideas and creativity in the midst of this covid-19 pandemic, resulting in this record-breaking.
“I think this is a matter of pride for new students of SV-IPB batch 58. Hopefully this record-breaking will make new students of batch 58 proud of recording records by publishing 1078 articles, it’s not easy to organize an event like this,” said Arief.
MPKMB SV will be held for two days, 12-13 August 2021, virtually or online using the Zoom service and Live Streaming via YouTube. This activity is a debriefing and orientation to introduce academic and learning systems including introducing academic and student culture on the SV IPB University campus.
This MPKMB activity was filled with mentoring which presented the Chancellor of IPB University Prof. Dr. Arif Satria, Director General of Vocational Education Kemendikbudristek Wikan Sakarinto PhD, as well as talk shows with successful alumni including Fahrizal Sukma, MSi Vice President of the Writing Division of PT Penjaminan Infrastruktur Indonesia and Septian Jasiah Wijaya owner Waluya Wijaya Farm. with the introduction and appearance of Student Organizations within the SV IPB University environment, such as the D’Voice Student Choir which has had various achievements at both national and international levels. Then, the music of vocation, and ended with the screening of a video cover of the song Cinta Yang Tulus which was presented by the Dean of SV IPB University, Dr. Ir. Arief Daryanto, MEc.
